VSL#3 is WONDERFUL!!!!!
I was given samples of VSL#3 from my doctor to try after I had a really bad flare of my ulcerative colitis. She said," just try it you may help you". Well I thought okay it's worth a shot. So I've been using it for several months now and I feel great. I believe it gave me what I needed because my bowels were so inflamed and needed the good bacteria back. I'm a firm believer that VSL#3 is the only product I want to use to keep my ulcerative colitis under control. Thanks for a WONDERFUL product!!!!

VSL#3DS has made a huge difference
I have suffered with UC since 1999 with periods of remission alternating with periods of flare-ups. After a particularly bad flare-up earlier this year with cramping, diarrhea, bleeding, and weight loss, I contacted my gastroenterologist who gave me a prescription for VSL#3DS which I got through my local pharmacy. I take 2 packets a day along with my normal maintenance medications and I have to tell you the difference with my digestive system has been truly amazing. It took about 6 weeks of use to realize the full effect but I now have pretty much normal bowel movements with no urgency, discomfort or other symptoms. This is the best my digestive system has been since I was diagnosed with UC. I can now have foods I haven’t eaten in years without worrying about upsetting my system. There IS life with IBS thanks to VSL#3!
For anyone who does not suffer from a chronic, serious GI issue, it is hard to imagine how life altering such a condition actually can be and how many aspects of your life it can affect. VSL#3 has truly improved the quality of my life. As a long-time sufferer of IBS, I was desperate for some relief, some control of my symptoms. My gastro doctor immediately suggested I introduce VSL#3 into my diet. Fast forward 8 months and taking 2 capsuls each morning is how I begin each and every day. I can truly say that my GI issues have calmed dramatically. Not exaggerating to say VSL#3 changed my life!
After a few of years of trying to ignore my belly problems, I saw a highly recoommended GI doctor who diagnosed me with inflammatory bowel disease. She prescribed a course of steroids but also VSL#3 and gave me a few samples. The steroidal treatment solved the acute symptoms but the VSL#3 has kept my belly feeling balanced and great ever since. I take 4 per day and notice that when I decreased my use and also went away for a week without any (accidentally), I did not not feel my usual self.
This product is worth every penny and I cannot imagine being without it! In the past, I tried other probiotics that had no impact. I am so glad I found VSL#3.Mavis
Finally, relief!
